How can the USA be named “most prepared” for the coronavirus pandemic when virtually ZERO Americans were being tested because there were no testing kits?

Late last year, the Global Health Security Index was released depicting which countries are most and least prepared for a serious disease epidemic. And hilariously, the United States ranked as among the "most prepared," despite the fact that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has since been shown to be entirely ill-equipped to handle the arrival of the Wuhan coronavirus (CoVid-19).

This assessment of global health security across 195 countries looked at preparedness levels by honing in on what tools countries have in place to deal with serious disease outbreaks. Each country was then ranked on a scale of zero to 100 where 100 represents the highest level of preparedness.

Based on this analytical model, the U.S. ranked as the most prepared nation in the world with an 83.5 out of 100, while the United Kingdom ranked second at 77.9 out of 100. Third in line was The Netherlands at 75.6 out of 100, followed by a handful of other developed nations such as Australia, Canada, Sweden, France and Finland.

Communist China ranked well down the list at 51st place, with a score of 48.2 out of 100. And rounding out the bottom of the list is North Korea in 193rd place with a score of 17.5 out of 100; Somalia at 194th place with a score of 16.6 out of 100; and finally, Equatorial Guinea in 195th place with a score of 16.2 out of 100.

One thing that becomes immediately noticeable from the index's heat map showing where all the countries of the world rank is that Africa is highly vulnerable to a serious outbreak. This was already seen with the Ebola crisis that ravaged much of West Africa back in 2014, killing more than 10,000 people.

Listen below as Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, talks about how the CDC is staging the Wuhan coronavirus (CoVid-19) as a trap to take out President Trump in the leadup to the 2020 presidential election:

While only three cases of novel coronavirus have been reported in Africa, some worry that an outbreak could still occur

Thus far, there have only been three reported cases of the Wuhan coronavirus (CoVid-19) in Africa. But because the continent is said to have some of the weakest countries when it comes to disease preparedness and prevention efforts, it could be that it's only a matter of time before the Wuhan coronavirus (CoVid-19) takes root there.

"How well a country is prepared is relatively unimportant," wrote on Zero Hedge commenter about these findings. "What is of critical importance is how a country manages the epidemic and consequences once it has arrived."

"If a country has all the resources and systems and yet manages poorly then resources and systems are for naught and go to waste," this same commenter added. "If a country has shortages that develop and yet manages and adapts then that's significant. Good management on the fly may make the difference."

Much like the U.S., some African countries have evacuated their own students from China and brought them back for safekeeping. At the same time, many others have been hesitant to take such precautionary measures because they're worried about igniting an outbreak at home.

Students from South Africa had been among those who were not being evacuated by their government, which is why they created a Change.org petition that garnered a total of about 720 signatures on it.

So far, nine African countries have evacuated students from Wuhan, China, the epicenter of the Wuhan coronavirus (CoVid-19) outbreak. These include Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritius, Mauritania, Morocco, Seychelles, South Africa, and Tunisia.
